What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They let a site remember simple things, such as your language choice, and they help site owners understand how pages are used.
Cookies used on this site
- Essential cookies: required for the site to load and display correctly. These cannot be switched off.
- Preference cookies: remember settings such as the language version you last opened.
- Analytics cookies: collect aggregated statistics about page views and navigation. They do not identify you personally.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run retargeting pixels.
How long they last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies, such as the language preference, remain for up to twelve months unless you remove them earlier.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings menu. Blocking all cookies is possible, though some parts of this or any other site may then behave unpredictably.
Clearing cookies also removes your saved language preference, so the site will open in its default version next time.
Questions
